This journal is published annually, starting from 2025, with three issues per year published in January, June, and October.

JSTE accepts scientific papers in the form of research reports (original research papers), focusing on the development of issues of science, technology, and education in Indonesia. JSTE publishes twice a year : in February and October. Although focused on the Indonesian region, JSTE does not rule out the possibility of publishing manuscripts that have correlative and/or comparable problems in the scope of the field.
Articles published in JSTE go through a double-blind peer-review process. Therefore, the decision to accept a scientific article is the right of the Editorial Board based on the recommendations of peer reviewers.
Authors who publish their articles in JSTE agree to the following terms:
The author retains copyright and grants the journal the right of first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC-BY License). This license allows authors to use all articles, datasets, graphs, and appendices in data mining applications, search engines, websites, blogs, and other platforms by providing appropriate references. This journal allows authors to retain copyright without restriction and will retain publishing rights without restriction.
